This course is for a learner facing a moment that asks them to back themselves: a Grade 12 learner heading into final exams, a student giving a first presentation, anyone who waits to feel ready before they begin. Through an add-on, it also serves parents, teachers and coaches who build the confidence of the young people they guide.
Back Yourself treats confidence as something you practise rather than something some people simply have. It looks at confidence as a feeling, a decision, a skill and a belief, and starts from the idea that the feeling usually follows the action. You practise turning your inner critic into an inner coach, learning from a mistake and stepping back in, reading nerves as energy, and choosing who backs you.
You start by taking stock with My Confidence Baseline, across the course's seven practices, and The Five Traps Profile, which shows whether fear, limiting beliefs, judgment, comparison or perfectionism trips you most. Then come practices such as The Mistake Reset, Nerves to Energy, My Evidence Bank and My Backing Team, and the core closes with My Back Yourself Playbook: if-then plans for the moments that test you. The Study and Exams pack takes them into the exam room with My Exam Performance Plan, Design Your Pre-Exam Ritual and My Academic Setback Recovery Plan.
I suggest you begin with the first module, Where Do I Stand?: take the baseline, pick the practice with the lowest score, and try one tool in a real moment this week. A free twenty-four-hour trial of the whole course lets you look around first.
